Clay Play takes its name from exactly that; play! 

This is a class like no other. Philosophical enquiry over a glass of wine meets experimentation with an ancient medium. You will go home with a different view on the world, a keepsake, and your unique creation will arrive in the post several weeks later.

The medium of clay is fundamentally alive and it speaks a language of its own. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to spend more time perfecting your craft, expect to leave with a deeper appreciation of the medium and its uncanny ability to reveal many different aspects of life to us; containing in the microcosm of a sculpture the lessons of a lifetime.

You will have the choice to dream up your own ideas, from abstract mugs to surrealist sculptures. Or the option to follow a set formula that leaves you with a functional item to incorporate into your everyday.

Whichever path you choose, an instructor will be on hand to teach you relevant techniques from the basics to whatever you mini-project calls for.
